U16: Called off due to waterlogged pitch.
U11's: The U11's hosted Mynydd Isa at North street and started 2012 with a 2-1 win with goals from Baylee Butler and Jack Jones.....the game was played in blustery conditions. Shay Dawson was awarded the M.O.M. award with a great display in goal. Manager Dave was full of praise for his team and singled out Ifan Dunbar at right back for his 'never say die' attitude and Captain Lewis Birkett who led through example playing at centre back before having to move into mid field to cover, always talking to his team mates throughout the match...well done lads. The result gains the team the "Team Of The Week" award
U10's: The lads found themselves up against their "bogie" side Holywell and yet again were unable to overcome the hosts finally going down 5-2. On target for Aston were Ben Dobson and Elliot Evans...
U8's: The U8's have'nt played since November and it showed against Mynydd Isa on Sunday. Forced to play 2 games due to lack of players, the 9 lads that played started off brightly but fell behind against the run of play. Two more goals in the second half finally saw them off as the tired in a game that was spoiled by the wind. They played well but were second best at the end, not to worry lads..
U7's: The lads welcomed Mynydd Isa to North Street and carried on where they left off last year winning 3 of the 4 games that they played, winning 4-1, 6-2, 2-0 but going down 2-0 in the last match. They have now scored 90 goals this season so far. amoungst the goals were Dre Smith, Dylan Percy 2, Matthew Clemments 3 and leading the way was Charlie Davies who notched up 6 goals.
